Debbie Ladwig works mostly in watercolors and pastels. Her wide ranging array of subjects include: equine, wildlife , flowers, sea life, and portraits of celebrities, children and pets. Debbie has a Bachelor's of Fine Art and a background in digital animation.

During the time she worked at American Film Technologies in           San Diego, Ca, Debbie specialized in digital software as a fine liner and animator. Her work appears in three seasons of "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" which was featured on the Fox Network.

She has also done work for Henriot Quimper Faience France, a legendary French pottery located in Brittany, France. Her handpainted shelves have been featured and sold in the companies catalog and sold to patrons here in the U.S., and at their location in Stonington, CT.

Debbie also served as an apprentice to the commercial artist Cheri Blum. Debbie worked with Cheri to craft images of decorative art that was reproduced on a number of household items as well as prints at Kohl's Walmart, and K-mart stores nationwide.

Inspiration for her current work

comes from her surroundings of her

past 20 years. Debbie's  home studio is on a large horse farm in

Chesapeake City, MD where she and

her family are surrounded by rolling

hills and encapsulated by waterways

teeming with sea life. Her art captures a detailed depiction of

her life on the Eastern Shore.
